Our Team

Jeanell Barker

Jeanell has always had a passion for customer service and medical aesthetics. You will find Jeanell’s smiling face at either the front desk or in one of our treatment rooms with a client having a BelaMD, chemical peel, or Laser Hair Removal. Jeanell is also available to help you with skin care choices and mineral makeup colour matching and application.

In her spare time, Jeanell loves camping with her family on beautiful Vancouver Island.

Cate King

Cate is a Cowichan Valley girl and has been working at Viva Medical for the past seven years. She brings a wealth of experience to the Viva team and currently is our Ultherapy specialist, as well as providing laser treatments and skin care consultations. Behind the scenes, she keeps our finances going with her accounting skills.

When not at work, she keeps very busy with her growing family of husband, three children, two cats, and a new dog named Stella.

Michelle Harrington

Michelle has worked with Dr. Pascoe for the past 11 years and has really earned the title of Jill of all trades and right-hand girl for Dr. Pascoe. You will find Michelle helping Dr. Pascoe with larger treatments assisting with photos before and after, and helping take care of you during procedures.

She is also highly trained and skilled with skincare and the products we sell at Viva. You will find her with her grandchildren or out and about when not at work, often boating with her husband.

Candace Hallet

Candace is Cowichan, born and raised, and has many roles in our Viva team. She is our laser specialist and is highly skilled and experienced in skin care consultations, BelaMD, chemical peels, and Ultherapy. If you are looking for a makeup consultation, Candace is your person.

At home, Candace loves her Peloton bike rides. She keeps busy with doggies and cats and enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter.
