I am often asked, “What does my skin need to achieve a luminous / glowing appearance?”
Here are my top 5 recommendations:
1) Sunblock
One of the most important items in your daily regime is sunblock. Over time, UVA and UVB rays damage the skin leading to fine lines, excessive pigment, and potentially precancerous and cancerous growths. I recommend a physical block containing zinc oxide or titanium dioxide. These products are now formulated so they are light and easy to use.
2) Antioxidants
Vitamin C and E and some plant based products have been scientifically shown to slow and even repair the damage caused by sun and free radicals in our environment. If applied daily, these products can significantly improve skin tone and texture.
3) Alpha and Beta Hydroxyl Acids
